Kelly Creech
As I am writing this update on my "post graduate" life, I actually find myself on the precipice of change. I have just accepted a new position has a Program Associate at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and will be leaving my college town and home for the last 4 years. While I do not think anything will ever replace my experience in Madison, I am excited to explore a new city. Since graduation I have tried out a few different jobs, my longest stint being at the Department of Workforce Development-Unemployment Insurance Division. I have enjoyed utilizing my political science major during this period while I learned how to implement federal policy on a local level. However, my new position will be working for an economic grant program through the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee that focuses on economic development in Southeastern Wisconsin. I am eager to ally myself with a new program designed to address the solution of alleviating unemployment. While I continue to miss my ILS roots and struggle finding my feet in the "real world", I am excited for this new opportunity and were it is taking me! klcreech89@gmail.com
