Jillian Jacklin
Jillian is a PhD candidate in the history department whose work focuses on 20th century United States labor and immigration history. She has a minor in comparative and transnational history and her broader research interests include critical race and queer theory. She graduated from UW-Madison in 2006 with a BA and majors in history, international studies, Spanish language, and a certificate in global cultures. Her other hobbies include dancing salsa, merengue, bachata, and practicing all types of yoga. She is very excited to be a teaching assistant in a course she took as an undergraduate.
