I grew-up on the shores of Deep Cove in Vancouver, BC, Canada. I completed a BA in Archaeology and an MA in History at Simon Fraser University. I am now a doctoral student in the department of the History of Science, researching the transmission of a series of 17th century Jesuit accounts that have become foundational documents for the social sciences in North America. My academic interests include the history of the social sciences, ethnography, historiography, Jesuit science, natural history, and early-modern polymaths.
