Julie Collins
Julia is a Masters student in the Agroecology program. A graduate of Boston University with a degree in Biology and English, she is fascinated by interdisciplinary thought. In her time at UW, she is focusing on the use of games as teaching tools and nuclei for social interaction. She hopes through her research to better understand how students relate affectively to environmental and agricultural issues encountered in an educational setting. Before coming to Madison, she worked on a family farm in southern Connecticut and studied hermit crab behavior as a research intern at the New England Aquarium in Boston.
Julie Collins is a teaching assistant this fall for ILS 252.
