Jacob Tootalian
Jacob is a PhD candidate in the Department of English, minoring in the history of science. He is writing a dissertation on the relationship between poetic literature and political/scientific prose in seventeenth-century England. Born in Stockton, California, he earned a BA in English at the University of California-Davis and an MA in English at Texas A&M University. He works at the Writing Center, enjoys running, and is raising a kitten named Graymalkin.
This spring, Jacob is the TA for ILS 201.
